After years of witnessing how her father's affairs led to one child after another being dropped off on her mother’s doorstep, Marsha left Antigua with one goal in mind to achieve in New York City; to be a single, traveling historian. Having a husband and children only led to being stuck at home of service to them. A single woman was not only free to do as she pleased, but she was also free of the humiliation that men brought on. Marsha saw perfection in a life without humiliation, and she was determined to have just that.
In one night, Marsha’s goals are dashed away. Her cousins throw her a surprise college graduation party, and that is when she meets Jeremy. Marsha could all but resist his enchanting smile and charm that oozed through his deep hickory brown skin. She let’s go of all her inhibitions and transforms into someone unrecognizable even to herself. Jeremy is only worth forgoing her goals if they have a perfect relationship, and Marsha will make sure that is it perfect.
